Wetland Partners for Life
This painting is of the brolga birds who are soul partners for life. They perform a spectacular mating dance to each other and can be found in the wetlands and on the coastal waters of Australia. This painting shows the dragon fly which signifies the start of the dry. At this time of year they can be seen congregating with the brolga birds as they feed together on the flooded wetlands. They have up to two off springs at a time.
